How to Describe your data with Percentages Using the Describe - Percentages Function The DESCRIBE - PERCENTAGES function, part of the DESCRIBE MENU in EZAnalyze, allows you to summarize your data by both frequency, percent, valid percent, and cumulative percent (glossary). To obtain percentages for your data, select the "Describe" option from the EZAnalyze menu in Excel, then select "Percentages". In the "Percentages" dialogue box, select one or more variables (glossary) from the variable list and click "OK". When you click OK, a results report will be printed on a separate sheet for your review. (click on "results report" for information on how to interpret this analysis)
